On June 7, 2008. I surprised everybody and showed up at the Niles Bluegrass Festival. It is a great festival for a town the size of Niles. I got up on
stage for the Open Jam and sang a couple songs. I followed along on a few more songs. The pictures look much better than the
performance was I'm afraid.
If I was going to play somewhere, here is where you would find out when.
I plan to do an open mic soon. I am
getting back to the guitar after a long absence. I had many talents;
wasted long ago. Hopefully, I won't make too much a fool. I already
have, see, here I am shooting a cigarette out of a rubber chicken's mouth
with a suction-cup-arrow shot from a guitar string. Three nights in a
row, at the Charlotte High School Band 'Band Bounce' 1982, never missed.
Of course, if I got with 6 inches or so, the wind from the arrow did the
trick. :o)
I also hacked my way through some charts in the Jazz Band. And even
thought I was going to be a rockstar. We have had some fun
around some campfires lately. See the Summer Photo Album.
Uncle Bob, Chuck, Deb, Jason and Tom have all done wonders for my
confidence lately. Grandma and Grandpa too.
